Norval Reef Charters operates from Gladstone and travels to airley beach in Queensland, Australia, with direct access to the Great Brrier Reef and the Swains reef where you can enjoy one of the best fishing, diving, research, reef walking or sight seeing holidays in the world. We offer 3, 7 and 9 day extended charters for fabulous fishing! Trips can be arranged to fish the Swains Reef, cruise the islands and reefs of the Coral sea, places like Marion, Diamond islets , Flinders reef and Aventong reef. These locations are 200 nautical miles from the mainland.
Norval Reef Charters[ has licance to fish this region ] offer extended charters for group or individual bookings of up to 11 passengers aboard our beamy 60ft vessel, MV Norval. Spacious, undercover back and side decks allow passengers to spread out providing plenty of room for reeling in those trout/red emperor/sweet lip.
Or if pelagis are your choice our new 6 meter south wind is for you to take you to where the fish are , either trowling or soft plastic around the reef , she is a center consal to fish up to 6 , the south wind does a morning and afternoon fish so everyone has a turn [example] pelagis in the morning diving in the afternoon or take our small tenders to the beach for the big gt s what ever is to your liking

All our charters leave Friday night we travel through the night to reach fishing grounds on Saturday morning , your charter begins Saturday.
Your number of allocated days (3,5,7,9) start from Saturday morning eg: 7 day trip, passengers board Vessel Friday afternoon and steam all night to start fishing Saturday we fish and move around the reef to maximise our catch and head back to our home port around midday Thursday for a disembark the following Friday to meet the midday flight .We strongly recommend travel insurance
