BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
    To make a fishing/diving booking on M.V. Norval please consider the following:
1. Check availability for your chosen dates by telephone, email or via the website.
2. Read terms and conditions of vessel charter and dive charter below.
3. By paying your deposit this indicates your understanding and acceptance of terms and conditions of vessel charter, and fishing/diving charter.   When paying your deposit and booking your trip this website will ask you to fill out  the  charter manifest  reservation form as required,  containing your name, email, phone, beer order, special food requirements etc . With name of the organiser on top (if single just fill out yourself). PayPal will email you a receipt and your reservation is complete.

3a. Please note: No financial or credit card details are collected or stored by our website.  All financial transactions are carried out through PayPal secure banking portal. [ All credit cards are excepted by pay pal ]
4. The balance payment, may be paid into our bank or at the boat before departure (if balance is paid into our bank please add name and trip date as reference).

It is a requiarment for any moneys paid,into our bank to be noted clealy on

 

our statment, to prevent confusion

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF VESSEL CHARTERS

1. Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to ensure quality charters for the client, we do not accept any responsibility for circumstances beyond our control including poor diving visibility, catch rates and weather conditions amongst others.
2. We shall not be liable for any death, injury or medical condition caused by contamanated fish, damage loss delay or irregularity, which may be caused by persons and conditions beyond our control. We accept no responsibility for any loss or additional expense caused by delays in changes to transport or other services such as strikes, war, weather or other causes.
We suggest taking out travel insurance to avoid any financial loss
3. Any breakages, loss of equipment provided or damage caused on board as a result of client misbehaviour, irresponsibility or carelessness will be charged to the client.
4. If any passenger is found to be in possession of anything illegal, or engages in behaviour causing danger to themselves or other persons or property on board including consumption of alcohol to excess, he or she will be put ashore at the first opportunity and the authorities notified as may be necessary. Any such passenger shall fully release, discharge and indemnify the vessel owner\skipper from any liabilities, incidental costs or responsibility arising out of any breach of this condition.
5. The laws of Queensland shall govern any legal action or proceedings arising out of or connected with this contract.


SAFETY

1. Safety procedures must be observed at all times. The skipper’s decision on the day is final in all matters relating to the vessel and the dories.
2. Instructions or advice given by the skipper or deckhand on matters of safety, and weight and size limits as set by queensland fishing will be upheld large trofey fish can be taken at passengers own risk safety must be observed by all on board and clients must at all times take all reasonable precautions for their own safety.
3. Any breakages, loss of equipment provided or damage caused on board as a result of a client’s misbehaviour, irresponsibility or carelessness will be charged to the client.

5. Neither the skipper nor deckhand accepts any liability for any accident, injury or ilness cauesd  from  consumperation of contamernated fish,[ all staff are trained to detict no take fish]  incurred by any passenger on board the vessel engaged in fishing, angling, diving, sightseeing, photography, filming whilst in transit or similar activities, caused by actions of any other passengers on board howsoever occurring .In transit and accord
At night there must be no less than 2 people on back deck
6. The laws of Queensland shall govern any legal action or proceedings arising out of or connected with this contract.

 

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION

1. Prices are available on request.
2. The person that appears on the Charter Reservation Form in making the booking, whether an individual or on behalf of a group, is the client responsible for the whole of the fee he/she has undertaken to pay.
3. A deposit of 10% must be forwarded with the Charter Reservation Form to secure the dates. In the case of a single the deposite is 10 % on signing and a ferther 40 % 60 days from depature full payment must be made on or before 30 days of departure or all moneys paid by the singel will be converscated to the charter opperator .Any possion on any trip is transferiable but must be fully paid with in 30 days of depature .In the case of groups final payment can be made on day of depature  We prefer balance payment by EFT to our nominated bank account. Please include your name and trip date in the reference details when making payment.

4. Where the client cancels the charter whith in 30 days he / she will be responsible for the full cost of the charter
5. Where a party member pulls out of the group  trip, the group is still liable for the full cost of the fishing/diving charter and will need to cover the cost of the shortfall in numbers.Were a single

pulls out 60 days from depature he /she ie responable to 50% of charter , if he /  she pulls out 30 days  the full payment applies


6. Where the operator cancels the charter all moneys  will be refunded in full. There is no allowance made for travel expenses.[we advise travel insurance to avoid extra cost ]

 
7. Were the vessel returns because of machinical failur caused  by bad wether condition and the vessel is deamed un safe by  the skipper there is no refund. Were aggrement is made to return because of wind condition there is no refund

Were the vessel is forced to return because of machinial misfunchion a refund of 50 % of daily cost will be refunded
